Rev. Glenn Cranfield has served as President and CEO of Nashville Rescue Mission since February 2012. Prior to that, he spent over 15 years serving the homeless community in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, both as a volunteer, board member, and president and CEO. Glenn graduated from East Central Oklahoma State University in 1983 with a degree in Ministry and Music Education. In 1991, he was called into full-time ministry where he served as Associate Pastor of Oklahoma City Family Church.
In 1997, after five years of volunteering and serving on the Board of Directors at City Rescue Mission in Oklahoma City, Glenn accepted the position of President and CEO. He led City Rescue Mission until 2007, before returning to the pulpit as Senior Pastor of Capitol Hill Assembly. But after five years, the call to be a voice for the homeless could not be ignored.
In 2012, Glenn accepted the role of President and CEO of Nashville Rescue Mission. Since taking the reigns, Glenn has led the Mission in the addition and elevation of several key positions within the organization— Sr. Director of Guest Services, Sr. Director of Recovery Ministries, Case Managers, and Life Coaches. He has overseen the renovation and beautification of several areas of the campus, including the parking lot, lobby, chapel, and dining room. In 2015, Cranfield was named President of the Bluegrass District of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions (AGRM) where he served a three-year term. Most recently, he was invited to join the national board of directors of AGRM and will serve a three year term beginning January 2018.
