Barefoot Republic Camps & Retreats

Logo

The agency's Mission and Purpose is: To facilitate Christ-centered relationships between individuals from diverse racial, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds through an equally diverse platform of artistic, athletic and team-building programs. To reflect God’s pursuit of His children through interests and passions, interpersonal relationships, and equipping students with tools for exploring and discovering God’s presence in their lives.

The Day Camps in Middle Tennessee are a recent extension of the agency's camp and retreat centers in Kentucky and California and serve students in Davidson and Williamson Counties. Volunteers are needed for a wide variety of tasks during the camps and throughout the year. All the details for the organization can be found on their website and volunteer applications to be submitted in advance are at the Volunteer web page. This is a new Kiwanis Club of Nashville project to serve and mentor the children in our community. Please notify Vic Legerton (vlegerton@yahoo.com) when you have applied to volunteer and then each time you serve so we can monitor the service hours.
